The stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS is severe in South Africa.
In order to counter the effects of this negative stigma, the Equality Unit is hosting its annual “First Things First” campaign in the Neelsie this week.
Malan van der Walt, the project coordinator of the HIV and Sexualities Portfolio at the Equality Unit sat down with a reporter from MatieMedia to elaborate on the campaign.
