Thousands call for Zuma to step down in Cape Town

Thousands of people gathered in Cape Town today to call for president Jacob Zuma to step down. The march started on Darling Street, before it proceeded towards parliament, via Buitenkant Street and Roeland Street. Chants of “Zuma must go” rang out through the crowd where a variety of placards bobbed in a sea of South African flags; although, not everyone supported the protests. – Aidan Jones
